** Instructions for the 70 set
POLE AND NET SETUP
Assemble rope guylines per enclosed directions. Then slip each nail stake through open chain loop on guylines, and drive all stakes into the ground with hammer, using Figure B as a guide for stake placement. CAUTION: STAKES MUST BE DRIVEN ALL THE WAY INTO GROUND WITH ONLY CHAIN LOOPS SHOWING ABOVE GROUND.

Assemble pole by placing short connector in Pole B and twist-lock into place. Then insert Pole A into connector and twist-lock both poles together tightly. Using Figure A as a guide attach guy lines to pole, top double guy line loops over top of pole and rest on top eyebolt. Attach top net rope to either eyebolt height setting you desired. CAUTION: ALWAYS REST TOP GUY LINE ON EYEBOLT THAT THE TOP NET ROPE IS ATTACHED TO. Apply tension to top of net by pulling on slide bars equally. For maximum net tension, release one side, and angle base of pole towards stakes. Move bars 2" to 4" above where they first were. Then lift pole up and under the net in a vertical position. If your poles tend to loosen up during play, twist-lock tubes together in opposite direction. Then remember which turn you made clockwise or counter clockwise and always twist-lock poles together hard in that direction. Repeat above for other pole.

Form a loop at both ends of net bottom rope, if you have a rope bottom net. Tie a small loop knot close to net, cut excess rope off and burn ends of rope. The loop only needs to be large enough to get the bungee strap through. Loop bottom bungee cord around pole twice and back through the loop you just formed on net bottom, then connect together with s-hook. Repeat procedure for other pole. Net height can be adjusted by moving strap up or down on pole.

Adjust bottom of pole so that it is vertical in all directions. When maximum tension is on net, pole has no big bends in it, maybe a small bow, adjust so that both poles are vertical to the eye. The last thing to do is tie off the draw cords from the net back to the pole, depending on which net you have. You may have top, middle and bottom tie cords on your net. Do not pull to hard, but just enough to stretch the mesh of the netting out.

You can roll the net up onto Pole A for storage or remove and roll up separately, which helps to keep it form being tangled up. Keep sand and dirt out of inside of tubes, you can clean with a garden hose and water.
CAUTION: ALWAYS STAND ON BACKSIDE OF POLE WHEN INSTALLING BUNGEE STRAPS. DO NOT LET ANYONE STAND AT NET SIDE OF SET. BUNGEE STRAP COULD COME LOSE AND HIT SOMEONE. PLEASE BE CAREFUL! THE VOLLEYBALL SET YOU HAVE PURCHASED WILL PROVIDE MANY YEARS OF PLAYING ENJOYMENT, IF YOU CARE FOR IT PROPERLY.

COURT LAYOUTAn ideal spot would be a flat grassy area free of holes or foreign objects with no limbs or wires overhead. Lay out rope lines on the ground to form a rectangle, attach center s-hook on one side of boundary, a steel ring marks other side of center court. Then drive each steel anchor at corner loops into the ground, pulling the rope tight as you work your way around all four corners. You can close the eye on the stake with channel locks, so that they are permanently attached to the corner loops. For set up on sand you will need to purchase our #BTS sand stake set. You may also find it helpful, to also purchase our convenient storage rack #HW.
,CAUTION: NEVER LEAVE OUTSIDE OVERNIGHT. ROPE LINES ON THE GROUND MAY BE TRIPPED OVER, ALWAYS KEEP SMALL CHILDREN AWAY FROM PLAYING AREA, AND INFORM ALL OTHERS OF POTENTIAL HAZARD. THE SUN WILL DETERIORATE THE ROPE, DO NOT LEAVE OUTSIDE UNLESS IN USE. WHEN REMOVING NAIL STAKES FROM THE GROUND ALWAYS GRAB BUNGEE CORD UP CLOSE TO NAIL AND PULL STRAIGHT UP OR DIG OUT OF SAND. BE CAREFUL AROUND BOUNDARY LINES & GUYLINES THAT MAYBE TRIPPED OVER!
